My favorite dessert is cake or fruit tarts (like the ones you find in little French bakeries). However, it’s been a VERY long time since I’ve enjoyed either. Since going Paleo/Gluten Free, it’s nearly impossible to find those in bakeries that I can eat. And I wouldn’t even know where to begin in making my own! I can make banana bread and muffins and cupcakes, but paleo cake and fruit tarts, I have my serious doubts if I could pull those off!! 😛

My sister’s favorite cake use to be carrot cake (before we all pretty much stopped eating cake and started eating healthier). Her birthday is next week so I think I’ll have to make this delicious carrot cake from Jenni’s book as I saw the recipe posted online . . . however, my sister lives far away so I guess I’ll have to eat it myself in honor of her birthday hahahahaha

P.S. Before your blog, I couldn't figure out why I stunk at making sweet potatoes and why they never tasted like they do at restaurants. Then I bumped into your blog and WABAM!!! It's one of the best things I make now hehehehe! Your tutorial is SPOT ON! I follow every single step and they are DELICIOUSSSSS!! It may be an obvious recipe to make for some people, but I went through so many batches of hard, tasteless, "I spent too much time on it to not eat it even though they're not very good" sweet potatoes. I am eternally grateful for how detailed your post on the perfect sweet potatoes is! My boyfriend is too! 😛 Everyone is much happier since I found your blog! 😀 Delicious and awesome posts!!! <3

Everything about this cookbook looks divine! A summer away from school and this cookbook would be heavenly. My absolute favorite dessert is flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce.
